Dickson Esieba

I’m Dickson Esieba, a Nigerian currently based in Warsaw, Poland. I created SabiPress to share practical, honest insights on migration, global opportunities, digital skills, AI, and building a resilient future from an African perspective.

My Journey

Born and raised in Nigeria, I understand firsthand the ambitions, frustrations, and tough choices many young Nigerians face daily: from navigating economic uncertainty to deciding whether to stay and build or pursue opportunities abroad (Japa).

I studied Economics at Ambrose Alli University in Nigeria, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. This academic foundation sparked my interest in systems, opportunities, and how individuals can thrive amid challenging environments.

After university, I built a career in the financial services industry, specialising in Financial Crime Compliance and digital transformation. I currently work as an IT Business Analyst at BNP Paribas CIB in Europe, where I help design and improve systems that manage operations, risk and compliance in global banking.

This combination of lived experience in Nigeria and professional exposure in the European financial sector gives me a unique, grounded viewpoint, one that bridges local realities with international systems.

Why I Started SabiPress

In 2025, I founded SabiPress out of personal necessity. While searching for reliable information on relocation, remote work, AI tools, and wealth-building strategies, I found mostly hype, outdated advice, or unrealistic promises.

I decided to create something different: a platform that offers clear, practical, and balanced perspectives. Through YouTube videos, articles, and resources, I break down complex topics into actionable steps that are always grounded in research, real-world application, and honesty about both the opportunities and the difficulties.

Having recovered from unpurposeful migration from Nigeria and successfully built a career in European banking sector, I’ve personally applied many of the strategies I now share, from developing high-income skills to navigating international opportunities while staying connected to home.

My Approach

  • Honest & Balanced: I discuss both the bright side and the hard truths of migration, remote work, and economic realities.
  • Practical First: Every piece of content is designed to help you take real next steps.
  • Human-in-the-Loop: In this AI era, I strongly believe in combining technology with irreplaceable human skills; a philosophy I live by in my own career.
  • Nigeria-First: I celebrate Nigeria’s potential while acknowledging its challenges, and I aim to show how Nigerians can compete and succeed globally.
